In-Ground (IG) Monitoring Stations

Think of this as a security fence around your landed property.

  • How it works: We bury discreet stations around your garden perimeter. These contain wood or monitoring devices.
  • The Benefit: We intercept foraging termites outside in the soil before they ever reach your house structure. Once activity is detected, we switch the wood to toxic bait to wipe them out.

How We Eliminate Termite Colonies with Baits

Termites are social insects that share food through a process called trophallaxis. We use this biological behaviour against them to destroy the entire colony from the inside out, without spraying harsh chemicals.

  • Safe for Families: The bait is secured inside a bait station. The active ingredient affects insect biology (moulting) and is harmless to humans and pets.

It is not instant. Termite baiting relies on the workers sharing the bait. Typically, colony elimination takes between 6 to 8 weeks depending on the size of the nest. Patience is key for total elimination.

Unlike soil treatment (which leaves a chemical residue for 5 years), baiting is a Colony Elimination System, where the current active colony will be eliminated. However, because there is no residual chemical in the soil, we cannot guarantee that a new colony won’t invade your house.

To give you a peace of mind, We provide a 1-Year Workmanship Warranty ensuring all stations are installed correctly and servicing is performed to standard.

Soil treatment is a one-time chemical application. Baiting is a service program requiring multiple visits by our technicians to inspect, refill, and monitor the stations until the colony is dead. You are paying for the expertise and the technology.

It works specifically for Subterranean Termites (Coptotermes), which cause 90% of property damage in Malaysia. It does not work for Drywood Termites (which live inside the furniture). Our Entomologist will identify the species before recommending a treatment.
